Terms & Conditions
Last updated: [DD Month YYYY]
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the SwiftLane Flights website (swiftlaneflights.com) and any freight forwarding, warehousing, customs clearance, or delivery services provided by SwiftLane Flights ("SwiftLane," "we," "us," or "our"). By requesting a quote, booking a shipment, or otherwise using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our website or engaging our services, you confirm that you have the authority to bind yourself or the company you represent to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our website or services.
2. Description of Services
SwiftLane Flights arranges and coordinates the transportation of goods by air, sea, and road, along with related services including warehousing, customs clearance, and last-mile delivery. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, SwiftLane acts as a freight forwarder and logistics coordinator, and does not itself operate aircraft, vessels, or vehicles used to physically transport goods; carriage is performed by third-party carrier partners under their own applicable terms and conventions.
3. Quotes & Pricing
Quotes provided through our website or by our team are estimates based on the information you supply and are subject to change if actual shipment details (weight, dimensions, cargo type, destination) differ from what was provided. Quotes do not constitute a binding contract until a shipment is confirmed and booked. Prices may exclude duties, taxes, and destination-country fees unless explicitly stated.
4. Booking & Payment
A booking is confirmed once accepted by SwiftLane and, where applicable, payment terms are met. Payment terms, methods, and currency will be communicated at the time of booking. Late payment may result in delayed processing, storage fees, or release of cargo being withheld until payment is received.
5. Customer Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate and complete information about your shipment, including weight, dimensions, contents, and value.
- Properly packaging goods for the mode of transport selected.
- Ensuring all necessary export/import documentation, licenses, and permits are valid and accurate.
- Declaring hazardous, dangerous, or restricted goods in accordance with applicable regulations.
SwiftLane is not liable for delays, fines, or losses resulting from inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the customer.
6. Prohibited & Restricted Items
Certain goods may not be shipped through our network, including but not limited to illegal substances, weapons and explosives, counterfeit goods, and items prohibited under the customs regulations of the origin, transit, or destination country. A full prohibited items list is available on request. SwiftLane reserves the right to refuse, hold, or dispose of any shipment found to contain prohibited or undeclared restricted goods.
7. Limitation of Liability
Except as required by mandatory law or applicable international carriage conventions (such as the Montreal Convention for air carriage or the Hague-Visby Rules for sea carriage), SwiftLane's liability for loss, damage, or delay is limited to the amounts recoverable from the underlying carrier(s), and in no event will SwiftLane be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits or business opportunity. Customers are encouraged to obtain cargo insurance for shipments of significant value.
8. Cancellations & Delays
Cancellations must be requested in writing and may be subject to fees depending on the stage of booking. Estimated transit times are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed; SwiftLane is not liable for delays caused by circumstances outside its reasonable control, including customs holds, carrier disruptions, weather, or force majeure events.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on the SwiftLane Flights website, including text, graphics, logos, and design, is the property of SwiftLane Flights or its licensors and may not be reproduced or used without written permission.
10. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of [Governing Jurisdiction — to be specified]. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services will be resolved in accordance with the dispute resolution procedure specified in your service agreement, or otherwise through the courts of competent jurisdiction in [Governing Jurisdiction].
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of our website or services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
